Why Tasuki? Well other than the obvious (he's sexy as hell) he's a dynamic, fun character. (Did I mention, he has fangs?!) FY is a great anime about Miaka, who accidentally opens an old book and it "sucks" her into the world within the story. The world in the book is similar to ancient China and while she is there she friends, finds adventure, and also falls in love. Miaka meets the people of the Konan Empire and they make her their "Suzaku no Miko" which means she is the priestess of their god Suzaku (a firey, red phoenix). She must find the Suzaku Seishi and with their power she can summon the god, and also make 3 wishes. Tasuki is one of the seishi.
Tasuki is the leader of a group of bandits and he can throw fire with an iron fan called his Tessen. Not only are his appearance and weapon hot, but his personality is as well. Tasuki has one of the biggest "potty mouths." It's so funny to see him get angry and hear him with his tirade of swears. His primary talent is his speed ability, however his Tessen is his most often seen form of attack.

One thing about Tasuki that cracks me up is his friendship with his fellow bandit Kouji...whenever they get excited or meet up with each other after a period of time they go "super deformed" and "bandit dance" This dance is hilarious because these two men link arms and dance around.
